I'll demonstrate how to use your bone folder to create embossed lines as well as provide a crisp fold to your cards. I'll also show you how to incorporate pleated paper into your projects and we will use our soft chalks to create a sky/cloud background as well as adding color to the Liquid Applique in the center of some of the flowers.

Cruise Food!!!

You all know I am a HUGE FAN of good food! Here a just some of the wonders we got to partake of on our cruise! (I don't have the real names of each dish - just recalling from memory.) Can I tell you, I actually LOST weight on this cruise!!! Simply because we were eating fresh foods, exercising daily, and the portions were "just right". Portion Control! That's my new mantra!

Little Extras on the Cruise.....

I know my last post was huge. I tried to be very selective on how many photos to post. In this post, I wanted to show some of the gifts left in our room by Close To My Heart each day! Each had a little gift tag with whimsical rhyming poems about each gift! We felt so loved and SPOILED!

We arrived to a bucket of champagne in our room!

The next day we received a cute logo tote bag and water bottles for our first excursion:

Then 2 logo hats and a logo towel:

Back from the Caribbean!!

I am back from the cruise to the Western Caribbean - compliments of Close To My Heart! What a wonderful time we had on the high seas!! I can't wait to do it again!!

It was my first cruise ever, so I don't have anything else to compare to, but I believe we were on one of the best lines out there! The dining room meals were OVER-THE-TOP wonderful! (I'll post some of those photos separately.) And the all day buffet was great for salads and breakfast. Close To My Heart left gifts in our room each day! I had full access to the gym with windows looking out to the sea - the best workout I've ever had! And we got to listen to music all night, and watch top-rate entertainment in the theater!

Here are just a few photos to highlight this fabulous trip:

Western Caribbean Cruise!!!!

My mom and I are in the business center of the Embassy Suites in Miami, FL waiting to visit with my aunt and uncle over breakfast before we board our Norwegian Cruise Lines ship for the Grand Cayman Islands and Cozumel, Mexico! Woo Hoo! I am SOOOOO excited about earning this cruise through Close To My Heart!

I'm working toward next year's cruise in the Eastern Caribbean! Have I mentioned lately that I LOVE my job? I'd love for you to join my incredible team and begin earning cruises to take YOUR family on too!! This month we have a great new consultant bonus. Be sure to see the Dare to Dream post below. I'll be back in one week. Please contact me if you have any questions or want to get together to talk about whether this would be a good opportunity for you!

Until then, bon voyage!!!

Veranda Everyday Cards/Box

This is a gift I am donating as a prize for a women's conference our church is having this weekend. The box, 16 cards/envelopes, a $25 gift certificate and a Spring Idea Book!

You might be tired of seeing these same papers/cards over again, but I thought I'd post "something" before I left for my cruise! LOL!

I used the same Wishes workshop pattern (Greetings Card Workshop) and the same Veranda papers, filigree charms, and new spring paper flowers that I did in a earlier post - but some different sentiments this time. I also used some of our Dimensional Elements - Fresh Shapes on the box and my cricut for the title.
