You all know I am a HUGE FAN of good food! Here a just some of the wonders we got to partake of on our cruise! (I don't have the real names of each dish - just recalling from memory.) Can I tell you, I actually LOST weight on this cruise!!! Simply because we were eating fresh foods, exercising daily, and the portions were "just right". Portion Control! That's my new mantra!
Roast Pork with apple compote, sweet potatoes and asparagus:

Linguini with roasted tomatoes and basil:

Tilapia with bok choy and chinese noodles:

Salad from the all day buffet: (The buffet is where we had breakfast every morning too. I had lots of fresh fruit each day!)

Apple tart with unsweetened cranberries (isn't he cute?):

Cheesecake with strawberries and a chocolate swirl:

Pecan Pie with ice cream and carmel sauce:

Vanilla Bean custard with unsweetened blueberries:

Vanilla Cream Cake with unsweetened raspberries and dark chocolate:

I'll bet you enjoyed every lucious looking bite. Just saying these beautiful foods and then seeing the pictures, make my mouth water. How yummy everything looks.
ReplyDeleteI'm not on any level to judge anyone else's sinning, but it's got to be a sin to eat all this food and then lose weight - shame!!!

LOL! I'm sure 2 hours on the treadmill had a little something to do with it too! :o)
ReplyDeleteThe treadmills had their own TV's built right into the machine, so I just plugged in my headphones and watched a feature film while walking my little heart out! With the occassional glance at the ocean! It was dreamy!!!
You would have to show me those luscious desserts! Wow, what wonderful food! Glad you enjoyed your trip!
