I'm Still Alive!

Did you think I dropped off the planet? Sorry it has taken me so long to post something! As you know I was in Washington DC for our CTMH annual convention. WHAT A BLAST!!

Aside from the beautiful accomodations (as usual) there was just so much excitement in seeing old friends, meeting new ones, getting a sneak peek at new products, actually receiving and making items with our new products, very informative business classes, great food, AWESOME entertainment, a fun photo booth, and an overwhelming amount of artwork to see! All of it was so invigorating and inspiring! I'll post more later - just wanted to let you know I'm still alive!

Convention Team Gifts

This year I am SO excited to be bringing 10 of my downline with me to convention!!! To promote team unity and fun, we made these fun sashes that we will be wearing with tiarra's - I'll have to post a picture of those later. But I also wanted to do something special for those on my team who are attending convention. So I'm giving each on a mini album to remember thier first convention!

For this month's layout, I chose outdoor pictures (perfect with the colors and patterns of this paper) of my back porch. I always love the quiet of the morning - when everyone else is either asleep or gone....absolute peace! And there is no better place to be in the cool of the morning than my back patio! It is screened in by one of the "barely there" screens which makes you feel like you are right in the midst of nature! Looking out at the forest behind us, listening to the morning symphony of birds, watching squirels, deer, even insects and other creatures roam about is quite entertaining. But it's also a perfect place for me to meet with the Creator of all things and try to set my heart and mind on the right track for the day. So I decided to preserve this memory - My Backyard Sanctuary!

I encourage you to preserve YOUR special places, routines, traditions, etc. - not only people and events. Happy Scrappin'!

Zippidee Level 1 Workshop

These will be the EASIEST and FASTEST layouts you have EVER put together! They are so quick an easy, even a CHILD can do it! Our Zippidee Level 1 kit comes with 4 pre-printed layouts - all you have to do is mat your photos, add the coordinating adhesive artwork (just peel and stick) and you're done! I'm offering this workshop at two different times - once in the morning for children & adults and once in the evening for adults only.

NEW this month is a class especially for kids and adults at 10am. This class will include all materials (except photos and adhesive) PLUS pizza at the end of the class. This will give you moms a few hours to relax or run errands "unattended"! Why not join up with a friend, drop off the kids and go have lunch together! Your child should be mature enough to sit for a couple of hours, be able to follow instructions, use a 12x12 paper cutter for matting their photos. (I have 2 cutters to share - if you have one, send it with your child. Of course, I'll be able to help them individually if necessary.) OR if you'd like to attend WITH your child for a special Mommy & Me time you are welcome to. Make the project for yourself or for a younger sibbling.

I'm also offering the same class to adults only in the evening - no pizza, but you'll have snacks and access to coordinating accessories if you want to add to your layouts.

Also NEW this month, payment is required at the time you RSVP, since I have to order your supplies in advance. If for some reason you are unable to make the class, I will send you your materials and instructions to complete the project on your own.
