Birthday Cupcake Card Tutorial

Watch how easy it is to create what looks like real frosting and sprinkles on your cupcake card!

  5. This is wonderful! I posted it on my blog under my "tutorials" and such page. I am wondering, however, how you create the cupcake base. I know you use the crimper but how do you get just the right shape? Thanks so much! Marie at Isom Cre8tions

    The cupcake paper is actually 1 1/4 x 2 1/4. I just free-hand cut the angles. If you want, you can adhere your cupcake top and then trim the edges. Since the cupcake paper is already crimpped at this point, it's easy to trim the same amount from each side - for example, go from one corner to 2 lumps (or crimps) over. Does that make any sense at all? Then do the same for the other side! I hope that helps!!
