Just Chillin' Card

Are you ready for some more sandpaper/ink distressed, paper-pieced, beachy themed artwork?

Here is a card I made featuring our new Colonial White Die-Cut Cards and our Just Chillin' Stamp set. These cards are so cool. They are a tri-fold card in a fun 3 1/2" x 8" size with a cool die-cut on the fold!

I used a Cricut Shape (from our Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge of course) for the "Just Chillin" sentiment on the flap, and for the sentiment on the inside. For the inside sentiment, I found a font online "close" to the stamp set and used it for my own sentiment inside.

As you can see, I've paper pieced the sun, umbrella, and chair. For the umbrella and chair, I stamped the image on the back side of the B&T paper, cut it out, and flipped it over! Then added the pieces with 3-D foam tape.

As you might be able to see, I used our piercing tool to poke holes along the umbrella lines (following the stamped image on the reverse side) to give the umbrella more form and dimension.

Stay tuned for more Footloose Fun!
