Help Abigail Faith

This past weekend, I had the privilege of participating in a fundraiser for a family that has a child with several medical issues. She is such a precious baby girl - Abigail Faith. Here is her story...

When I was 36 weeks pregnant, we discovered that Abigail had several medical conditions requiring specialized care, so we temporarily relocated to the Ronald McDonald House in Cincinnati to be near Children's Hospital. Abigail has esophageal atresia, an AV Canal heart defect, a trachea-esophageal fistula which has been repaired, and trisomy 21, better known as Down Syndrome. We appreciate everyone's prayers and thoughts for Abigail, our family, and her whole medical team. Abigail is an adorable, precious baby who in a short amount of time has completely stolen all our hearts. While her medical issues are plentiful, we thank God for adding her to our family. Her smiles bring smiles to our faces, and her determination is an inspiration to us all.

With mounting medical bills, the community decided to pitch in to help relieve some of their financial burden. At the end of the day they had raised a whopping $10,200!!! AMAZING!!

I was there as a vendor, but also to provide super simple cards for anyone to send a note of encouragement to the parents, siblings, or even baby Abigail! The kids especially loved making their own card and adding their own notes. Here are the options they had to choose from:

I had supplies for 70 cards and almost ALL were made! Not only is there a pile of cash to help out this family, but also a pile of cards to mail over a period of time to continually encourage them and bless them!

*Special thanks to Toni Moffat who came out to help me with the cards and all of the other girls who volunteered to help! Couldn't have done it without you!

  1. What a beautiful baby girl! She's a fighter and one of God's angels on this Earth. Thanks for sharing her story with us. I wish Baby Abigail and her family all the best and will add her to my prayers.
