Win A Workshop Projects!

HERE is the post you all have been waiting for! Close To My Heart provided pre-cut kits for all of the projects - making it a breeze for us to put them together! We had 4 two-page layouts, 6 cricut cards, and 2 cricut boxes! I requested bulk B&T paper in at least one project - they used bulk B&T in ALL of the projects and I LOVE them all!! Wait until you see them!!

Here is a cricut box with random stamping and just a hint of shimmer trim!

Here is another box with random stamping and our beautiful 3-D flowers and just a hint of burlap ribbon!

Here is a cricut card. Notice the fine details - fussy stamping on the wooden butterflies, the letters "v" to create an arrow, the stitching with the bakers twine, the beautiful sparkle flourish and shimmer trim!

This very simple card makes a statement just with it's unique shape! Then add wooden and paper flowers layered together with some random stamping in the background and you're done!

Here is another uniquely shaped cricut card. Notice the texture and dimension added by using our burlap ribbon!

Here is another cricut card with an outer wrapping - random stamped!

This VERY unique cricut card is actually a gift card holder with an insert inside! Notice the details on the front! Looks like a xylophone! We even cut tiny bits of shimmer trim to adorn the colorful pieces!

And this absolutely adorable file folder cricut card has to be my favorite - although everything else is a close second! I love the paper bow, the shimmer trim on the ribbon pieces and the bulk paper mixed from different kits! Even the sparkle on the designer brad!

Didn't the art studio do an amazing job on designing these???? Okay - since this is turning into an incredibly LONG post, I'll post the layouts separately.

Win A Workshop Day!

It's finally here!!! The day my team has been waiting for!!!

Many were up in the wee hours of the morning - traveling from far corners of the world to be here! Doors opened at 8:30am and the kitchen was soon filled with yummy homemade potluck goodies for lunch time and all day snacking!

We set up the Operation Smile Table, the prize table and the snack table!

EVERYONE at the workshop won a prize off of this table! 

In addition to that, everyone received a complete product pack - valued at over $100 PLUS the projects PLUS a snack pack!

Kristine introduced herself and the projects to lots of squeals and ooo's and ahhh's. 

The prizes were drawn throughout the day! Here are just a couple of the prize winners:

And I received an EXTRA SPECIAL prize: An Outdoor Denim album, Display Tray, and Small Organizer filled with a complete set of mammograms - I mean, Monograms - a new stamp scrubber and some pigment inks! But the best prize of all was having Kristine there in person!

Then we settled in to creating the projects! Even Kristine sat down to create the projects with us!!

A Day With Kristine Widtfeldt!

Kristine arrived in Charleston, WV late Thursday night, then met Nicole Finch and I on Friday afternoon over at our workshop site to set up for the big day! A HUGE thanks to Nicole for securing this great gym with a separate eating area and full kitchen for our big event!!

We spent WAY too much time on our paper flower pom-poms for our photo backdrop! But they were cute!

After FINALLY done setting up - I had to bring Kristine to my house - just so I could create a "George Washington slept here" moment! (Actually Lisa Stenz "slept here" which is enough clout!) But now, Kristine Widtfeldt was here too!! Here's PROOF!

Then Nicole and I whisked Kristine back to Charleston to get her some WV Holl's Chocolate! It was so cute to see her carefully analyze and select the chocolates to fill her box!

Then that evening we met up again at the Bridge Road Bistro for a Meet & Greet with other consultants and customers! What a treat!!! It was an intimate evening in a private room with appetizers and our own private waiter! He was a HOOT! Wish I would have gotten a photo with him! Kristine told stories about the company and Jeanette. It made us ALL appreciate and LOVE Close To My Heart even MORE - if that is possible!

Operation Smile Silent Auction - Christmas Display Tray

This Christmas Display Tray was created and donated by ME - Christine Adams.

It features our new Black Wood Display Tray - each section measures 3" x 4". The entire piece measures about 13 1/2" square. I've used our new Holiday In Color Dimensional Elements as well as our Pear and Partridge papers and rub-ons. And a few additional sparkles here and there! Feel free to substitute a photo in one or several of the spaces!
