Artiste Purse Bag

Here is a simple gift idea or party favor using the Artiste Cartridge and Avonlea Papers!

For the purse, I used the shape on pg. 32 of the Artiste Cartridge - (3D Object). Here it is open - it has a cute little pocket to put a card/gift inside and has a fold over clasp to hold it together when closed. NO adhesive is required to hold this one together!

The "thanks" sentiment can be found on pg. 65 of the Artiste cartridge . I used the Avonlea Off-White cardstock and our Bonding Memories glue pen and Prisma Glitter to give it some sparkle! I used Slate cardstock for the background shape on pg. 62 and lightly sanded the edges.

I added a bow made from our elegant Slate Satin Polka-Dot Ribbon and one of our Rhinestone Designer Brads! You will definitely want some of this ribbon - and the Rhinestone Brads are retiring! Avonlea Thanks Cards

I thought it would be fun to share some cards made with the Artiste cartridge and Avonlea papers.

The Avonlea paper packet is one of three in our Autumn/Winter Idea Book that features "off-palette" colors. In other words, there are cardstock and B&T paper colors that can only be found in this paper pack! This includes:

Avonlea Off-White

Avonlea Teal

Avonlea Green

So if you want additional cardstock in these colors, you simply need to order another paper packet! I'm certain you will want to stock up because this is such a beautiful and versatile paper packet! Over the next week, I am going to share some artwork I created for our convention to introduce this paper packet back in the summer. Here are some card examples.

I used the card on pg. 65 of the Artiste handbook and scored the bottom so it could stand up! Finished size is 6" x 5" (not scored is 6.5" x 5"). The bottom flap folds up to tuck into a half-circle cut out which is hidden underneath the flower.

I used some of the Avonlea coordinating Canvas Shapes with some 3-D foam tape and inked the edges with a little bit of Slate ink.

I added flowers from the Artiste cartridge pg. 44 - Accent2 - using Creme Brulee cardstock and Avonlea Off-White cardstock with a little added bling!

Aren't these cards adorable?

I've recently discovered these really cool Swing Cards on the Artiste Cricut Cartridge on pg. 52 of the booklet. I chose one of them and cut 12 (one for each month) and created a card for each month using the Year Round Cheer Stamp set! I added the matted bracket shape from the Art Philosophy cartridge. The black cardstock is perfect to use our silver metallic marker or chalk marker!

Retiring Items - get them before they are gone!

Our current Idea Book has products available through the end of January. And while we are excited about new Spring products coming out in February, there are some current favorites that will retire and be no longer available after January 31st. Stonewall Resort Crop Update

I recently drove to Stonewall Resort to personally check out our cropping space. I received a FREE room for the night - what a treat! Plus they delivered a fruit and cheese tray to our room! What a special treat!! I took my husband with me and we had dinner in the Stillwater's dining room. It was delicious and so relaxing. Afterward we went out by the fire pit for a while - it was so warm and wonderful! I even got to check out the fitness room! I just love getting away - good food, a little exercise, and you don't have to make the bed!

The next day I toured the conference center and got to see the grand ballroom as well as other conference spaces. We will either be in the ballroom or another section with one cropping room and one workshop room. Either way - we will have plenty of room! I'm really excited about this place!
