Tommy Club Layouts!

For August we will be making layouts using our Tommy paper and stickease! 

The papers carry a nautical theme, but you can really pair it with any kind of water or adventure pictures!

Here is the first layout - I added some of our canvas color ready alphabet stickers for my title, which coordinated perfectly with the canvas stickease! I also used some of our durables square studs on the page as well. You can choose from our square, round or artisan studs - they all work beautifully!

Here are a few embellishments from the Tommy Assortment pack.

This next layout was designed by Kelly English-Triggs! She always does FABULOUS work! There is lots of layering of the stickease on this layout and she used the artisan studs.

Cross Lanes Club Cards for July!

Surf's Up Club Layouts

This month at my Cross Lanes Club we will be creating layouts with our Surf's Up papers and stickease! This is such a FUN paper with retro images - like the VW surf van from Scooby Doo!

I added bitty sparkles to all of the flowers in the pattern paper to add a little sparkle and fun!

These layouts also feature a fantastic product that we carry - FLIP FLAPS! You can add flip flaps, in various sizes, to any page to expand your photo potential without making it look cluttered! Here I have a 6" x 6" flip flap on the left page....

...on the other side is a 3" x 3" flip flap. You can feature additional photos or journaling or ticket stubs, etc.

This next layout features our 12" flip flaps!

On the left page there is a 12" x 6" flap on the left side that hopes to reveal more photos and journaling...

...on the right page there is a 12" x 6" flip flap that opens from the top for additional photos.

NEW Cricut Artbooking Layout - Give Thanks!

I am SO IN LOVE with this new Cricut Cartridge and SO excited to offer it to you beginning August 1st! If you would like to take advantage of my pre-order offer, click here to get all the details.

This is the layout we will be making at my team meeting this weekend. It is found on page 72 of the Artbooking guide.

I cut out all of the elements on this page at 11" and the cartridge does the math for me and makes the image the exact size it needs to be to fit proportionately with the rest of the pieces!

On the right page, this overlay piece really frames and make the layout! You can leave it just as it is or fill in the leaves and trunk!

I chose to fill in the trunk with Kraft cardstock stamped with our wood grain back ground stamp - D1477 Universal Backgrounds.

Then I added leaves to the tree. I used the leaves from our Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge on pg. 59 called in different sizes ranging from 2" to 3/4". I crumbled them and then inked them with chocolate and barn red ink.

The left page has a title and leaf/vine flourish above the photo mats and I added a date using the font on the new Artbooking Cricut Cartridge at 1". 

On a side note - since this layout features 4" x 6" photos, it is PERFECT for our 4" x 6" flip flaps! I think it would be cool to use them on the left page with pictures of family and journaling of what each one is thankful for. Just be sure to raise your title up and drop your photo mats down a bit so the flip flaps won't cover the title.

July Stamp of the Month - Sweet Life!

I wanted to share this month's stamp of the month with you! It's perfect for tucking in a basket of fresh fruit from the farmer's market to give to a friend!

The stamp includes "outline" images that are perfect for using our alcohol markers with! Remember, it's best to use the pigment ink as your outline ink. I used chocolate pigment ink to stamp the image, then I sprinkled clear detail embossing powder over the top, tapped off the excess, then heat set it so that the outline is a nice dark, shiny brown!

Then I colored in the cherries with our Cranberry and Cranberry Light markers with just a hint of Creme Brûlée for a highlight. For the leaves I used our Topiary and Topiary Light markers with a little bit of Slate for the branch.

Here is an apple card - "love you to the core"! The yellow textured paper is from our Tommy paper packet and the burlap ribbon goes perfectly with the orchard theme!

And one final card for today..."you're a peach"!
