Base and Bling Clips!

Our new Base and Bling line of wearable art is to much fun! And so affordable too!

At my crop in October, Erin and Cari will be offering a workshop to show you how easy it is to make these clips! You can use them in your hair, on your lapel, or clip them on a package or gift bag!

We will have several fabrics and accents for you to choose from to make your own unique piece of art! Here are a couple of examples:

Frosted Card Workshop Kit!

Are you in the mood for Christmas yet? As a crafter, you HAVE to get in the mood early, right? 

So I'm offering this workshop at my crop Oct. 4-6. Create these beautiful cards (15 total - 5 each of 3 designs) in a jiffy! You can create using the colors above or change it up to blues and grays like I did!

Fellow consultant Vicki Wizniuk came up with this color combination and I just LOVE it!

I love the simplicity of this card and yet there are plenty of beautiful elements! LOVE the sparkly glitter gems! And of course, you want to stamp your envelopes to match your card!

This is a fun card featuring the second generation technique to simulate trees in the background! I also added some silver shimmer trim and silver glitz glitter to the snowflakes!

And finally, here is the third card. I love the stamp set in this kit! So many fun fonts and images! I added a little more silver shimmer trim and silver glitz glitter.

Artbooking Halloween Layout!

Here is a SUPER easy, SUPER fun layout that I made using our new Arbooking cartridge!

This is a workshop that my crop attendees can sign up for - only $5 for this two page layout - all pieces pre-cut and ready to go! I'll also show how easy it is to incorporate our 4x6 flip flaps on this layout to include even more photos, journaling and decorative mini-pages!

I backed the haunted house windows with some honey cardstock, and the door with Sunset cardstock stamped with our woodgrain background stamp from Universal Backgrounds.

I used a simple technique on the title - I simply cut out the "Halloween" title in 2 different colors - the same size - then layer them slightly askew to give it a shadow effect!

Mixed Papers

I love our My Reflections paper packs - you can mix and match the colors in the kit and never go wrong! But did you know you can also mix papers from different kits? Sure can, but there are rules!

Here are some examples of mixed papers on our new Circle Spin Cards that we made at convention! The cards are 5" x 7" with a cut-out and circle attached with string that spins when opened! 

On this card, I've mixed the Sarita papers with Laughing Lola paper!

Here is the back side of the circle.

The sentiment is stamped with our new "M" sized stamps that are only $2.95 each!!

I stamped on the circle, then stamped on Laughing Lola purple paper and cut out the word YOU and layered it over top with 3-D foam tape.

Here is another spinner card with Pro Player paper and Laughing Lola papers!

Also, I paper pieced the heart with this stamp using Laughing Lola purple and the words with Pro Player blue paper!

Chocolate Affair Gift Basket Workshop

Here is a quick and EASY gift that the special ladies at my Fall Crop will have the opportunity to make! I got this fabulous idea from one of my downline - Alisha Whittington!

The contents include a large red mixing bowl, an 8" x 8" baking pan, 2 red hot pads, a Betty Crocker Double Spatula, Betty Crocker Measuring Spoons, Marie Callender's Brownie Mix, Red Shredded Paper filler, a cellophane gift bag, and a large red glitter bow, a "Brownie Points" gift tag, Ruby Chevron Ribbon!

Artbooking Laughing Lola Mini Album

Here is another sample of an Artbooking mini album. This one is a free standing one, with pages that fold down to middle to make a book! When folded, it is approximately 7" x 5".

I only used cardstock, at bit of Grey Baker's Twine, Laughing Lola Dimensional Elements, and Laughing Lola Assortment, and just a bit of the purple pattern paper from the Laughing Lola Paper Pack. You can see many fun and funky shapes cut from the Artbooking Cartridge, some of which I stamped with our new background stamp called Geometric Backgrounds! It adds LOTS of texture and design!

This was one of the projects we made at the Close To My Heart Convention this past Summer! All pieces were pre-cut and ready for us to assemble! How cool is that? This company not only offers amazing products, but treats their consultants with such generosity and care! I LOVE my job!

Laughing Lola Cards!

This month at my Cross Lanes Club, cardmakers will be using our Laughing Lola Card Kit!

We will be making a total of 15 cards - 5 cards each of 3 designs. Here is a close up of the first card - I like to stamp my envelopes while I make the card since I have the stamps and inks out anyway!

Here is the second card:

I love the trendy splatter stamp down at the bottom of the shape!

Here is the third card. I changed my a little from the pattern in the guide and added some of our grey glitter papers!

One of the cool things about this card it is the Cricut shapes that coordinate with the stamp set included with the kit! I will have all of these shapes pre-cut for my club members and ready for them to stamp on!
