Skylark Club Layouts

Next month, my clubs will be creating with our Skylark papers. These papers are beautiful, the colors are soft, the designs are whispy and ready for your favorite photos.

Here is the first layout.

There is an interactive journaling element under the 4x6 photo on the right page.

Here it is extended or open.

Here is how to assemble it. Add 3-D foam tape under the 4x6 photo mat, around the outside edges, making sure to add foam tape to the edge where the tag is pulled out.

Add a strip of card stock to the journal piece wide enough to fit inside the open space, but long enough that it will catch on the foam tape at the end and not allow the tag to be pulled out completely! Then flip it over, peel off the adhesive strips and press in place (making sure you tag is inside). Easy, huh?

Here is the second layout.

I purposely cut (AKA fussy cut) this part of the paper for this layout because it has a natural Journaling area right on the paper!

And finally - I'm sure you've all heard the phrase "There are no mistakes in scrapbooking, only opportunities for embellishment", well this was MY opportunity! I put the paper down wrong and tore my base page when I lifted it up. Rather than start all over I just cut a piece of the zip strip and put it on top of my tear. Poof! No mistake! :o)

Would you like to join one of my clubs and create with us? I'd LOVE to have you! I have one in Cross Lanes, WV and one in Danville, WV. I'm even willing to travel to YOU if you want to pull together a group of friends that want to create! Just let me know!

Whether or not you are in the club, you can still participate by purchasing the supplies and creating at home! (click on the items below to view them and/or add them to your cart)
