Yuletide Carol Layouts Workshop!

Here is another workshop that will be offered at my Crop coming up October 3-5, 2014.

I LOVE our Yuletide Carol Christmas paper and stickease! The colors are deep and warm and the images are vintage and beautiful!

This first layout includes a few cricut cuts from our Artbooking cartridge and holly leaves from our Art Philosophy cartridge! I added some of the gold glitter gems from the Yuletide assortment to the trees and holly leaves. I also matted the photos with our gold shimmer trim for a little more sparkle and shine! (I honestly think it looks better without the "december 25" title. I think I'll take mine off!)

I added the black wooden "merry" sentiment from the Yuletide assortment to the Christmas paper.

This vintage postcard becomes your journaling spot!

The second layout continues the festive, vintage theme!

I added a few accents of the gold shimmer trim and some gold sequins on the banner! The letter are matted with a frame from the Artbooking Cartridge!

This gold metal charm is from the Yuletide Assortment!

This Santa cluster rounds out this simple layout!

AS A BONUS you will be able to use your leftovers to create this beautiful framed piece to keep for yourself or give as a gift!

This layout features one of my favorite pieces of paper in this kit - the stockings! Aren't they adorable? I also used our new Chevron Border Punch under the photo, backed with some gold shimmer trim!

Here it is in the Black Shadowbox Frame.

Here it is in the Cream Shadowbox Frame.

I love the detail on these frames! AND the magnetic closure that makes it super easy to open from the bottom or the side and then grabs tight when closed!

I added a title of "peace and joy" using a wooden piece from the Yuletide Carol assortment, an ampersand from Artbooking, and a title from Artbooking! I layered 2 of the same size "joy" titles, just offset them slightly. The top layer is actually colonial white cardstock that I have embossed with our gold embossing powder! I'll show you how easy it is to do! Then I accented the "j" with a gold glitter gem from the Yuletide Carol assortment.

The corner of the photo features a resin Christmas Rose with a gold glitter gem from the Yuletide Carol assortment along with a few holly leaves from Art Philosophy.

There is LOTS of 3-D in this layout - it's hard to tell in the photos, but since it will live in a shadowbox, I really wanted to take advantage of that space and bring it to LIFE with layers of 3-D!

The basic kit for these 5 pages is only $16
and includes paper and stickease.

I highly recommend these optional add-on's:
Yuletide Assortment - $7

Gold Shimmer Trim - $5

Black or Cream Shadow Box Frame - $29

These items are also optional:
Chevron Border Punch
Micro Glue Dots
3-D Foam Tape
Cashmere Ink and Sponge

Be sure to sign up for this workshop so your kit will be waiting for you at the crop!

Sing Glory Card Workshop!

Here is another workshop that will be offered at my Fall Crop Oct 3-5, 2014! I'm really getting excited!!

This is a Christmas card for those special people that you have on your list! It looks like a "boutique" card, but it's really very simple!

It features one of our exclusive DISCOUNTED hostess only stamp sets! There are 10 to choose from and I have them ALL! If you are in one of my clubs or if you host an at home or online gathering, or simply have an order of $150 or more, YOU can select as many of these stamps as you want with your FREE HOSTESS REWARDS!

This is one of my favorites - shown on page 7 of the Idea Book. And what a deal at only $8! (You can see where I got the "idea" for this card! From the "Idea Book" of course!)

In this workshop, I will show you how to emboss a clear image (angel) and then sponge ink around it to make it "appear"! It's a very soft effect that is FUN to create!

Inside is a very simple, matted sentiment. (The white mat is actually covering a mistake. Wait…..did I say mistake? Did you know there are NO mistakes in paper crafting - only opportunities for embellishment! THIS was my opportunity! LOL)

We will also coordinate our envelopes to match! The front will have an embossed angel...

The back will be covered with coordinating paper (you choose which pattern you want showing).

You can choose how many cards you want to create - each card/envelope set is only $2. At that cost, you could add a few MORE people to your "special card list"!

Some of the techniques you will learn in this class are:
Heat embossing with clear ink and sponging ink to reveal the image
Embossing cardstock with our new Floral Embossing Folder
Covering envelope flaps and stamping on your envelopes
Simple inside sentiments to give your card a more finished look
Using a scallop punch on your shimmer trim
Layering colors with paper piecing on your sentiment

Your kit will contain everything you need to create this card EXCEPT the Metallic Baker's Twine. In an effort to help you "scrap your stash" you can bring baker's twine or ribbon that you already have to use on this card.

If you prefer, I can add on the baker's twine for you. It is only $6 and includes 10 yards each of 4 colors - each one entwined with either silver or gold thread for the metallic effect!

If you are attending my crop, be sure to let me know if you want to sign up for this workshop! We're going to have a whole lotta fun!

Christmas Card Workshop!

I'm still watching my Netflix Christmas movies and creating Christmas projects for my upcoming CROP! There are only 6-7 spots open! Be sure to reserve a spot for you and a friend today!!!

Here is an easy-peasy Christmas card workshop we will be doing featuring our Cut-Above Card Kits!

There are two different card kits to choose from. But they both feature the same stamp set called Merriest Christmas! At only $9.95, I KNOW this is a stamp I will use over and over again!

Choose a different sentiment for each card or use your favorite over and over again!

Both cards are 5x7 in size and include printed card bases, pre-cut pieces, coordinating embellishments, and even decorative envelope flaps!

The first card option is a Christmas Card Kit.
Here is the standard card version:

And here is the very same card with the sentiment matted and heat embossed with silver. (Also shown is the coordinating envelope!) You can do your cards either way - or some of both!

Here is the second card option. This one is called the Holiday Card Kit.
Here is the standard version:

Here is the same card with the sentiment matted and layered (along with the coordinating envelope). See how easy it is to spruce these up with minimal effort?

Each kit includes 10 pre-printed card bases (5x7) and coordinating envelopes, along with pre-cut cardstock and glitter pieces and coordinating accessories. I'll provide the added mats for your sentiment pieces if you want. You just stamp your sentiment and assemble!

You can use my stamp set and inks and embossing powder, but you will have to wait your turn since we will be sharing it. OR you can order your own stamp set to use on your own or share with a friend. It's up to you!

The Christmas Card Kit - $14

The Holiday Card Kit - $14

Merriest Christmas Stamp Set - $10

Choose your kit(s) and let me know how many you want. Do you like the Christmas Card Kit and you send out 30 cards each year? Order 3 kits! (3 sets of 10) Do you like them both? Order 2 of one and 1 of the other or 2 of both and have a few extra for neighbors and the unexpected. Do you want your own stamp set, be sure to add that on!

I can't wait to do my Christmas Cards this year! They are going to be SO EASY!!!

Snowhaven Layouts

In November I will be a vendor at a crop at Greenbo State Park in KY. I'm really looking forward to meeting new people and sharing our fabulous products with them!!

I was asked to teach a winter layout workshop while I'm there and I knew our Snowhaven collection would be PERFECT for this! I used our Magic Scrapbook Pattern book for both of these layouts!

On this layout I used our Silver Glitter paper and cut out snowflakes to help the layout glisten and sparkle! I also added a few bitty sparkles and a little grey metallic bakers twine.

I also embossed our white card stock with our Chevron Embossing folder and added a little Red Shimmer Trim and a thin strip of Silver Glitter Paper to the bottom of the layout!

Here is a bonus second layout!

This layout also has a few silver glitter snowflakes along with some black metallic bakers twine and bitty sparkles. I also used our Quatrafoil Embossing Folder on the Cranberry and White card stock.

The right page features an optional flip flap for additional photos and journaling! You can layer as many flip flaps as you want!

The basic workshop kit is only $15 and includes:
Snowhaven Paper Pack (pre-cut and embossed)
Snowhaven Dimensional Elements (printed chipboard shapes)

Optional Add Ons include:

I had so much fun making these layouts! I can't wait to share them with the croppers at Greenbo! If you are interested in attending this crop, contact Rhonda Baily at Piece of Time Crops - bbs@zoominternet.net.
