This is the last of my Christmas place setting - good thing, because now we are into the New Year!
I decided to make a paper charger for my glass plate. I had been using gold glitter paper for my intricate swirly mats on the tags, but I ran out for the large charger piece. So I improvised! I cut out my cricut shape using Colonial White cardstock and then embossed the edges with gold embossing powder! I love how it turned out!
Then I added some of the Yuletide Carol paper inside the shape. I used a music paper piece to cover the large area, then I matted some of the Ruby paper with New England Ivy cardstock and made it the size of the center of my plate so the plate would sit perfectly on the charger! That's the beauty of creating your own projects - you can customize them to fit perfectly!
I also added a Ferrero Rocher candy to the center of the plate for a little treat! It is sitting on the same shape that I used for the box tag and the napkin ring. So everything coordinates!! I also added a few of our Gold Bling Gems to the outside of the charger to make it even more special!
Assuming no one drops food on them, you can use them again OR use them as a photo mat on a page to remember the day!
I hope you have enjoyed these ideas - even after Christmas - and can incorporate them into your everyday celebrations!
