Nevermore Treat Bags!

I have to start by saying that I haven't really been a fan of Halloween in the past....(GASP!)....I know. But, if you know me, you know I love any excuse to celebrate!!! So, let's celebrate with some simple treat bags!!

My club members are making these in October! They are simply 3x3 cards - featuring our new Silver Foil Tape! - attached to one of our Slate Paper Bags! I've added a couple of spider web borders (from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge) and inserted a plastic bag with a tag for goodies!

When I saw the new Steampunk Scoundrels stamp set in the Idea Book I thought "I've got to use that for something!" So here it is!

Another cool trick is coloring our white enamel stars with our alcohol markers! SO DANG COOL!!

Of course my club members will have several stamp sets to choose from to make it more cute and kid-friendly or creepy! Whatever their heart desires!

Nevermore - Frightfully Fun Inspiration!

I'm sitting in my rocking chair on the balcony of our hotel room looking out at the ocean and getting caught up on blogging! (I wish I could say that every day!) September is almost gone and I haven't even posted about all the exciting NEWS with Close To My Heart! My apologies.

First, let me start with our BRAND NEW CATALOGS and IDEA BOOKS now available!

It always amazes me how excited I get about these new books! But I love seeing new and exciting products, beautiful and inspiring artwork, and new techniques to try! Do you have yours yet? If not, let me know and I can get one to you. OR you can view them online HERE.

Stonewall Crop Waiting List!

I'm excited to report that the Stonewall Resort Crop is FULL with 58 happy croppers! But it makes me equally sad to not be able to accommodate everyone who wants to go. I have asked Stonewall Resort if they could squeeze any extra tables in for us and they said no. We already have 10 more croppers than last year! So I have started a waiting list. I currently have 14 people on the waiting list, which doesn't sound promising, but trust me -- there are ALWAYS last minute cancellations! So don't give up hope. 

And if you have a friend that is already signed up and they want to share their table with you, perfect! You're in! We can have extra people, just not extra tables. Make sense? But, if you know croppers, they tend to fill up their entire table with their own stuff! But if you find someone who wants to share, just let me know. The crop fee for each of you will be slightly less.

If you are not yet on the waiting list and would like to be added just let me know. Like I said, there are ALWAYS last minute cancellations and many people on the waiting list have already made other plans, so chances are good that you could still get in if you are open to a last minute addition.

I'm already looking forward to our weekend away! And my helpers and I are busy planning workshops and lots of fun for our weekend together!
