I'm on my way to Salt Lake City for our annual Close To My Heart Convention! So much excitement!
We have a tradition of making gifts for our roommates. This year I decided to purchase special lanyards for our name tags - heart themed of course!
I used our Base and Bling cards to hang the necklace/lanyard on and coordinated with a card featuring flowers from our Flower Market Cricut Cartridge.
I also used our Color of the Year "Sea Glass" which will be replaced with a NEW color. We will find out this week!
The card will have a hole punched in the top and tied to a Dark Chocolate heart from West Virginia's fabulous Holl's Chocolate!
After they eat the chocolate, the card can be attached to our brand new CONVENTION BAG so it will be easy to identify our bags in a sea of bags!
I'll have updates about exciting changes, retirements, and NEW ADDITIONS to our product line!!

This month my club will be ordering the Some Kinda Wonderful kit that includes layouts and cards all in one kit!

With your scraps you will have enough paper to create 9 cards - 3 each of 3 designs featuring the Some Kinda Wonderful Cardmaking stamp set and thin cuts!
I decided to change mine up by using the left over complements instead! I cut the paper pieces the same, just used a different stamp and left over embellishments!
You will also have extra pocket cards. Here is one that I used on a card!

I received a BEAUTIFUL birthday card all the way from Canada!!!
My sweet friend Alyson Mayo created this with so much love and care - it's absolutely PERFECT!
She used paper from our Sugar Rush collection along with one of my favorite retired products - sparkle flourishes! LOVE these! The Silver Foil tape is the perfect addition to frame the open space! And look at the glitter gems in the center of the flowers!
Thank you Alyson! I love, love, love it! And LOVE YOU! xoxo

How would you like to learn how to make these adorable Paper Blossoms? These make adorable backgrounds for parties, bedrooms, and entryways!
See instructions below:
What you will need:
• 11 sheets of the same paper design. (The artwork example uses Hello Lovely (X7216B), but you can choose any paper packet! )
• Inside circle from the Welcome Home wreath kit from the January promotion—you can substitute this with a 9½" circle cut from cardboard or chipboard.
• Liquid Glass (Z679)
• Paper trimmer or scissors
Step 1—Cut your paper.
You will need to cut your sheets into the following sizes:
• 4" x 4" (51)
• 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" (32)
• 3" x 3" (15)
Step 2—Form your petals.
Once your paper is all cut, roll up each piece like a cone, leaving it open on the top and closed at the bottom; seal the seam using liquid glass. Roll up each petal keeping the same pattern on the outside of each.
Step 3—Assemble your flower.
Using the inside circle from the Welcome Home wreath kit as your base (or a cardstock circle), start building your flower from the outside layer. Attach your largest petals onto the round about 2" in from the edge, leaving about a finger width between each. (Tip: pinch the bottom tip of the cone flat when adding adhesive). When building your second row, place the petals in the spaces created in the first layer, and so on. Use the large petals for the first three layers, then create two layers using the medium sized petals, and complete the final 2 layers in the center using the smallest petals. Depending on how tightly you roll your petals and how close you attach them, you may end up using a different number than you cut at the beginning.
Step 4—Display your completed flower with pride!
• For an alternate look, you can change which paper pattern shows on each layer. In this scenario, attach your petals as you roll them up so you’ll know how many of each pattern you need.
• For faster drying, you can use a hot glue gun in place of liquid glass when adhering your petals to the final base.
Have fun creating these adorable paper blossoms! I'd love to see what you come up with!

This month my club girls will be creating with the Sugar Rush kit!
These layouts are so SWEET in person! You will create 3 layouts:
By adding our Pocket Plus Page Protectors, you can add even more photos
And with your scraps you will be able to create 9 cards (3 each of 3 designs)! I love these cards in person!!
Even if you can't join my club, you can easily create these projects at home!
Simply order the Sugar Rush WYW kit by clicking here.
This month my club girls will be working on the Mother's Day Workshop Your Way Card Kit!
The kit includes paper, cards/envelopes, twine, gems, and an exclusive stamp set along with instructions to cut, create, and assemble 12 cards!
You can create 6 cards like these. I used silver embossing powder rather than Slate ink to add more sparkle and shine.
You can also make 6 cards like this - thank you cards! Notice one has pink paper and one has grey. You choose which side of the paper you want to use!
But wait, there's more! What if you don't want 6 Mother's Day cards? I used the same card pieces with a different stamp set! Try using the Sugar Rush Cardmaking stamp set and thin cuts! (They are on SALE this month!) I also used our Happy Thoughts embossing folder to emboss the white background, and silver glitter paper to mat it.
Here is the same stamp set/thin cut bundle used on the second card design. Notice the "Be Happy Today" embossed on top from the Happy Thoughts embossing folder.
And just because I couldn't resist, I used our stamp of the month - Tea-rrific - on a couple of cards as well. Here is the first! I used our journaling pen to doodle the borders, and our ShinHan TouchTwin markers to color in the tea cups!
And the second I used a retired embossing folder that resembles the pattern on the paper, and again markers to shade the tea cup and the journaling pen to doodle a border.
So you can see how versatile these card kits are! Not only can you create the adorable cards already designed for you, you can use the same pattern with different stamps to create something completely different! I love these cards! All of these cards!
Want to join my club? Too far away? Simply order a kit and the stamps to create these on your own!
