I was so busy making convention gifts that I didn't have much time to spend on my mom's birthday gift. But I saw a set of notecards at Hallmark (I know, crazy that I would PURCHASE note cards - right?) but I grabbed a few things, took them home, and themed them out!
It's obviously a purple/gold theme, with confetti tissue paper, a purple gift bag, purple note cards with gold foil, and a gorgeous birthday card that I COULD have made myself, but lacked the time! I also found a lavender hand soap at Bath and Body Works to go with it and added a coordinating tag to go with it!
I embellished a plain purple bag using gold foil paper, layered with our pansy cardstock. I used a "happy" think cut die. Then added Gold Foil and Pansy paper circles using our basic circles and stitched circle thin cut dies. I used our new Vanilla cardstock and gold embossing powder for the "birthday" sentiment and gold puffy heart sticker.
The note cards already had a gold foil trim, so I added circles in the center using our basic circle and stitched circle thin cut dies and gold embossing powder with our new monogram stamps! (I LOVE these!! They make sweet personalized gifts!)
And then finally, I added a monogram circle set to the cover of the box of the gorgeous card that Hallmark made!

And in an instant, I have another themed gift! I love have the supplies to make a custom gift centered around any color or theme! I just wish I had more time to play! I'd love to see what you come up with!
Happy Creating!
