This month's special features our beautiful Love Story papers! I've used the Love Story card workshop that Close To My Heart designed, but tweaked it just a little. Below are the cards designed by CTMH:
I decided to only use peach, rosemary, black and white cardstock, with a hint of silver foil paper. I also used our Layered Flowers thin cuts for the first time! I'm surprised how much I love these!
The first card maintained the same layout, I just added a flower and leaves from our Layered Flowers thin cuts. I also used a retired stamp set on a couple so that I have two engagement cards and two happily ever after cards. I added a silver foil paper medium stitched rectangle frame to highlight the sentiment.
Card two also uses the same basic layout, but I used silver foil paper in the background, embossed with our Stitched Circles embossing folder. It really give the foil paper some added character. And of course added a different flower and leaf branch. I love the versatile "best wishes" sentiment! It can apply to almost anything!
Card three follows the basic layout, but tweaked just a little. I used a silver foil large stitched rectangle mat under the pattern paper, and added another flower and leaf branch from the Layered Flowers thin cuts.
Card four features roughly the same format as the original, with the addition of a different flower/leaf combo from the Layered Flowers thin cuts. I embossed the white cardstock with the Stitched Circles embossing folder, and framed the outside with the large silver foil stitched rectangle frame. (I ran out of the silver foil paper, but will frame the last two cards once my order arrives!)
I also used a stamp set on two of the cards that was given to us at convention in 2016 - the sentiment spoke to my heart at the time and still does today -
be gentle with yourself, you're doing the best you can.
That's a message for today, right?
I even used the embossing folder on the envelope flaps!
