Just in time for the holidays, or any day really, a workshop kit that features baking memories and baking fun!! Whether you feature pictures of grandma and her favorite recipes, pictures of you and your siblings baking back in the day, licking the bowl, and making a mess - or maybe pictures this year with you and your kids, your grands, your friends or baking buddies, after school baking, mid-night snack baking! Whatever the occasion, it is worth capturing the fun and the memories!
Check out these 4 two-page layouts using this collection:
Layout 1: Cooking Baking Crew
I have incorporated two flip flaps on this layout to add even more pictures and journaling with our Freshly Baked PML cards: 1) Cooking Baking Crew 4x6 on the left page, and 2) Oh Snap 3x4 on the right page. On the left page, you will notice a baking cooling rack with fresh baked and iced cookies using our Freshly Baked Scrapbooking stamp set and thin cuts (metal dies). I've used a silver metallic marker to color the cooking rack. I even inked the edges of the cookies with some of our toffee ink since my edges tend to brown a little in the oven.....I didn't say BURN, just brown! LOL!
Layout 2: Holiday Treats
This simple layout features a background of squares of all different pattern papers in this collection. It almost seems like it would be way too busy, but it works once you add the matted photos - they become and focus and star of the show! Whether your photos are pictures of the treats you receive from neighbors and friends or the treats you make, this layout will hold special memories to cherish!
Again I have used the Freshly Baked Scrapbooking stamp set and thin cuts with the cooling rack of cookies in the top right. I didn't brown these edges since the layout was just a "brighter" theme. I just love this set!
Layout 3: Baking Memories
I have incorporated two more flip flaps on this layout with PML cards: 1) Happiness is....6x4 PML card, and 2) We go together....3x4 PML card. The flip flaps open outward so that they become a part of the story when opened.
Layout 4: Holiday Calories Don't Count
I am always counting calories, or at least uncomfortable aware of them, so I LOVE the theme of this layout! I've also taken on of the PML cards on the left page to use as my title. Another PML card I cut apart to label the photos on the right page with a few of my holiday favorite things! It's a great way to document your favorites or family favorites and traditions! I feel like my banner at the to i s naked, so I may add twine or embellishing thread or something.
If these appeal to you too, my inspiration started with our Freshly Baked Scrapbooking Workshop Kit that you can order here. Click the link below to see the kit along with the layouts designed for this kit:
